Bellingham Public School Foundation:

·        It is the district’s partner and non-profit organization that raises funds for a variety of programs that support the Bellingham Public School’s strategic plan called the Bellingham Promise.

·        Their mission is to partner with the community to build awareness and support to help fund the best possible education for all students in Bellingham Public Schools.

·        We have received over $300,000 in gifts from parents, teachers, businesses, and other community members. To date, we have granted to schools and the district over $100,000, grants     made possible by our donors.

·        Their ability to grant funds relies on our fundraising efforts. We raise funds through our Annual Possibilities Campaign, Hungry Minds Breakfast in the spring, and Race For Education in the fall. Details below:

  • 5K Fun Run and Walk
  • Saturday, October 12th at Civic Field
  • Race starts at 9:00am
  • This is a fundraiser but also a community building event for all Bellingham Public Schools' families and staff.
  • There's also a friendly, school spirit competition to see which school has the most participants.
  • Registration fee is: $25 for adults, $20 for educators, $15 for students
  • Register on-line at: whatcomraceforeducation.org
  • You can also register the day of the race, starting at 8:00am
  • Every participant gets a free tote bag!
