Important news from PACS

Minutes from the November Parent Advisory Council to the Superintendent meeting are now available.  Highlights from the meeting include:
  • With the temporary levy being passed by voters more major cuts are unlikely during the budget process this year.
  • The district is examining bus routes to see if there is a way to align High and Middle School schedules and to allow an earlier start for Elementary. A critical factor in that decision will be how many more buses would need to be purchased. The 9:30 start time is unlikely to be continued next year.
  • District bus routes showing ALL stops will be published on the web site soon.
These very informative meetings are held the first Thursday of each month, from 9:45 to 11:45 at district offices on Dupont.  Each school may have 2 official representatives, though the meetings are open.  WK's PACS representatives are Chris Carlson and Sue Duggal.
